Alan Maris Windows have been fitting quality windows, doors and conservatories since 1999. The majority of their work comes from personal recommendations – testament to their customer service and value for money. The company offer other products and services such as soffits and fascias as well as their core products of windows, doors and conservatories.
Their previous website was around 5 years old and – we’re sure they will forgive us for saying – it looked it! This meant that they needed a new website which was responsive – in order to allow their customers to view it on multiple devices – as well as engaging and professional. It needed to include all of the previous content, but be refreshed and updated with the new services that they now offer. One specific request that Alan had was for a visual breakdown of the different door colour swatches that are available, including filters for different categories / price brackets.
We worked with Alan to integrate his branding and existing content into a WordPress-driven new website. One of the core requirements was to allow customers to explore and download information on their windows and doors products, as well as making available the multitude of photos that they have of work done at customers’ properties. One core feature was the ability to view the different colour swatches for their doors – this included a filter to allow customers to preview standard, luxury and premium finishes.
Alan’s business has continued to grow with the new website; his website is page 1 of Google for searches on ‘windows Chesterfield’. The CMS-driven website has allowed him to add new customer photos as he undertakes work for them and also to keep his product range up-to-date.
